My First Christmas

Even though Noah didn't quite master how to unwrap his presents this year, he certainly showed excitement when mom and dad showed him his new "choo choo train" toy. His legs started to move vigorously and his arms shot right up toward the sky! Overall, Noah is still more excited about staring at the Christmas tree lights than the presents under the tree! How do we keep it that way? ... oh, and he's not a big fan of being placed in a box full of peanuts :) But, mom and dad got a kick out of it!

how bout them cowboys!

Granted, the Cowboys didn't show up to play last weekend, but that hasn't lessened Noah's excitement when it comes to watching 'da Boys play on Sundays! Noah has a funny habit of sleeping with his arms raised. Last night he was showing his Pro-Bowl throwing arm... with the help of daddy, he was able to throw the football across the kitchen :) ... not bad for a 6-weeker.

I confess. I had a little too much fun taking pictures tonight. Noah has been making some pretty funny faces lately. Here is my attempt to capture them on the camera.

Noah's best friend

This past weekend, we traveled to Dallas for Courtney and David's wedding. We had such a fun time with my college roommates, husbands and little ones. It was quite comical to see how our dinner table of 5 quickly turned into a table for 25! I guess that's what happens when we all grow up, get married and start families. On Saturday night, John and I spent some time with his college guy friends and their families. Noah enjoyed meeting his first best friend, Ellis. Ellis is only 6 days younger than Noah, but he's just slightly surpassing Noah on the growth charts. :) Both moms and dads had fun with the camera as the boys "played."
