2 months...

Our littlest one is 2 months old!

Hunter, you have been such a sweet little guy. You definitely have won our hearts over! You are sleeping 6-7 hours at night... weighing just shy of 12 pounds... your smiles are so precious, and it is fun to hear you talk back to your older brother, Noah. I'm sure that there is much more of that to come!!

you are a blessing to us, hunter!Sunday, September 13, 2009
boys will be boys
Noah, once again, busted open his sweet face earning him trip #2 to the ER. Thankfully, he was "superglued" back together instead of being stitched up... How did he earn such an afternoon adventure? Well, let's just say that he was practicing his newfound love of jumping.... did I mention he was jumping in his crib? Yes, with all the grace that a 22-month old little boy can muster, he jumped, tripped and faceplanted into the side railing of the crib. Here's the evidence... (And, by the way, these photos were taken with him practicing how to say "cheese" when smiling for the camera. Noah also insists on seeing the photo on the actual camera after you take it - so, there are several facial expressions to enjoy below...)

catching up...
Here are some photos and videos taken of the boys over the past couple of weeks. Hunter continues to grow and eat and eat and grow. It amazes me how much clothing I've already packed away because he has outgrown them.... even at only 7 weeks of age. He is quite strong and active! He exercises his legs and arms on the playmat and is able to hold his head up while lying on his belly. He is smiling now, too... which is super fun! And, we love that Hunter now makes noises other than cries; his squeaks and squawks are adorable. We've also had fun this past week with my mom in town. She has been such a help with the boys... and the dishes... and the laundry :) Dad also came down for the weekend. Poor "Papa" has helped Noah put together his 4-foot firetruck puzzle so many times that I believe the puzzle has infiltrated his dreams at night. Nana and Papa, Noah loves you!

Noah giggles while playing "kick off" - where he runs with the football and tackles John...

He also really loves playing the guitar with John. His excitement and belly laughs bring us much joy!
