noah had fun this morning playing with the "other kid" in the mirror....

and playing catch with his first baseball. We talked about how daddy is so excited to be a tried-and-true Minnesota Twins fan.... so, in honor of daddy... noah's sporting the "twins" onesie today! (Noah was giggling so hard, he tipped himself over in the chair! What a happy kid...)

28 - all day

This morning Noah was "helping" me put away clothes in our closet when I caught him staring at John's hanging clothes. Let's just say that John doesn't have too much variety in the colors of his shirts... that is, except for the bright, shiny, purple Adrian Peterson jersey of which Noah's eyes were fixated... hense, we tried it on for size. Noah definitely has some growing to do considering his entire body fit through the neck hole!

ready for a little MADNESS!

MARCH MADNESS... the time of year when Mommy goes a little crazy. She thinks that March Madness is the best time of the year, and thus, she is trying to indoctrinate me. I even have my own bracket. I guess you can never start too young! But, I'm still trying to figure out what the term "Cinderella Team" means...

Because mom helped me with my bracket, it will come to no surprise that I'm predicting UNC to dance the final dance! Afterall, my initials are "N.C." - once again, thanks to Mommy!! :)

So, let's give it up for those TARHEELS!

conversation with a giraffe... part 2

Noah: "Guess what!"

Giraffe: "What, Noah?"

Noah: "Did you know that you had a brother?"

Giraffe: "Yes, Noah; I have many relatives..."

Noah: "Really?! Mom and Dad took me to the exotic game ranch on Saturday, and I got to see buffalo, ostriches, zebras, deer, and a lot of other crazy cartoon characters... even a REAL giraffe named 'Stretch'! He was A LOT taller than you!!"

Giraffe: "That's because I'm a TOY giraffe... I'm sure you'll learn the difference between toy animals and live animals one day."

Noah: "Anyway, it was SO much fun. I can't wait until we go back again. I really want to take a ride on 'King George' (the buffalo)... Dad said I could, but Mom sure was giving Daddy a funny look when he said 'Yes'."

Giraffe: " I'll give you some free advice, Noah. If you ever want to do something crazy, ask Dad, not Mom!"

Conversations with a Giraffe

Noah: "Hi Giraffe!"

Giraffe: " Hi Noah... what did you do this morning?"

Noah: "Mommy and Daddy took me to see the doctor. I was weighed (13 pounds, 3 ounces --- we've come a long way from 6 pounds!), measured, and 'poked'."

Giraffe: "How did the 'poking' go?"

Noah: "I was brave and courageous... but, I have to admit, those needles sure do hurt!"

Giraffe: "Did you get a sticker for being so brave?"

Noah: "No, but I will when I get bigger. I hear that one day I'll also get a lolly-pop... even though I'm not sure what a lolly-pop is. Instead, I've been held by my Mommy all day."
