the official move!

Since Noah slept for 8 hours last night, John and I spent this morning moving all of Noah's things upstairs to his OWN room! He even took a nap in his crib this morning, but as you can see the little guy still enjoys "snoozing" in his bouncy seat! Just wanted to share a few photos of the nursery, even though it is still a work in progress.

changes...

Well, after much whip-lashing of the head, Noah has finally learned to control his head off of the ground. Don't get me wrong, the occasional bonk of the head still occurs! Also, Noah rolled over from back to belly last night. It was fun that mom and dad both got to witness it. However, I think that Noah was a little frightened by the whole exercise. His powerful legs whipped him right on over! We've definitely entered into a new phase... let the movement begin!

welcome home

Noah and I were very excited when Daddy returned from Turkey late Sunday night. Noah stayed awake just long enough to greet John at the baggage claim... but started snoozing as soon as we packed him back into the car for the ride home. What a rough life our little guy has! :)

growing boy!

Over the past 2 days, I've begun to realize that "baby" Noah is already turning into a "little boy". It has been so much fun to see his personality develop and to watch his innocent excitement every time he sits in his bouncy seat watching the aquarium fish spin in circles or play with the toys that dangle above his head on his play-gym. What a privilege it is to see the little changes that happen EVERY day!! :)

our little guy..

noah loves to be held where he can look over the shoulder... he's getting really strong, holding his head up, but you have to watch out - you never know when he might head-butt you!

"I found my fist!"

2 Month Doctor Appointment

So, this morning when Noah woke up, we had a heart-to-heart talk. I told him that today was a BIG day. We were going to eat breakfast and head down to see Dr. Albert. He look at me inquisitively and wondered what was going to happen during his visit.

Well, here are the stats.... Noah broke into double digits :) ... he is 10 pounds even (5oth percentile)... is 22 1/2 inches long (50th percentile) and with a 39cm head circumference (50th percentile). The little "geeter" (as Daddy says) is proportional. We'd still love him even if he wasn't!

Then came the lovely shots. Boy did he SCREAM!... and then the calm after the storm appeared. Noah has slept all day. I'm hoping that this will continue through the night, too. The boy likes his Tylenol...

Bumbo

I thought others might appreciate the progression of Noah's 2 minutes of sitting in the Bumbo.

"Hey, Look at me!! This is really fun!"

"Umm... I think I'm falling over"

"HELP!!"

Time with Daddy

John decided to read to Noah as he was preparing for his mission trip to Turkey. Evidently, Noah was very intrigued by the text :)
