As we left Estes Park, we drove the scenic Trail Ridge Road through the Rocky Mountain National Park. To say that the views were spectacular is an understatement!
Several hours later we landed at the Self Family Ranch just outside of Craig, Colorado. We spent the remainder of the week with the Self Family... celebrating the 4th with a parade in Steamboat. Noah really enjoyed watching Logan (2 1/2 years) and Eli (3 months)... and John and I were thrilled to spend some quality time with Bekah and Brandon. It's not commonplace to sit around a campfire during the summertime in Texas, but in Colorado with its cool nights, it is a MUST.... I will admit that I'm still trying to perfect my s'more-making skills!
